Join Us in 2019 for The 174th Vermont State Fair! Five days of action with musical acts, carnival rides, arcade, a demo derby, musical acts, livestock and crafts, plus plenty of yummy food.

A Rutland County tradition going back generations, the Vermont State Fair returns to the Rutland County fairgrounds on South Main Street this August. With each day packed with events and plenty to entertain the entire family, this is a festival you won't want to miss!

The Fair kicks off on Tuesday, August 13 at 5 p.m., with the carnival rides open for business! That's the same night as the Demo Derby, which will kick off a packed schedule of grandstand and musical acts throughout the Fair days.

Thursday night features Christian duo Caleb and Kelsey in the Grandstand; while Friday night brings the Peterson Farm Brothers and Jamie Lee Thurston to the stage for a thrilling musical show.

All throughout the fair, acts like Horses Horses Horses! and Rosaire's Racing Pigs, Tim Brick and the Old MacDonald Magic Show will keep you and the whole family entertained. Plus there are dozens of exhibitors and food vendors, along with the popular agriculture exhibitions featuring competitive horse and ox pulls, the Dairy Barn and many more.
